Collaboration & Analysis Groups

Work seamlessly with co-researchers, team members, or student groups using KDAnalytiks collaboration and group isolation tools.

1. Direct Collaborators & Role Permissions

Grant access to colleagues or research assistants without sharing account credentials:

How to Add Collaborators

  1. Go to Survey Settings -> Collaborators.
  2. Enter the collaborator's registered email address.
  3. Select their permission level:
    • View Submissions: Access live data and reports (read-only).
    • Edit Form: Modify questions and builder settings.
    • Full Co-Owner: Manage deployment, collaborators and exports.

2. Analysis Groups

Analysis Groups allow survey creators (such as lecturers, team leads, or principal investigators) to divide researchers or students into distinct, isolated groups.

Key Benefits of Analysis Groups

  • Shared Response Data: All groups view the same overall survey responses and analytical report metrics.
  • Isolated AI Conversations: Socius AI Chat threads created by one group are strictly private to that group. Members of Group A cannot view or access the AI chats or discussions of Group B.
  • Group Share Links: Generate unique join links for each group to easily onboard students or team members.

Setting Up Analysis Groups

  1. Open Survey Settings -> Analysis Groups.
  2. Click + Create Group and enter a group name (e.g. Lab Group 1, Market Segment B).
  3. Copy the unique Group Invite Link or share it directly via WhatsApp/Email.
  4. Students or team members who join via the link will be automatically assigned to that group when viewing reports and using Socius AI.
