Core Question Types

KDAnalytiks supports 12+ question types designed for qualitative, quantitative and multimedia data collection:

Single Select: Ideal for mutually exclusive choices (e.g., Age Range, Gender, Primary Occupation).
Multi-Select: Allows respondents to select all options that apply. Supports minimum and maximum selection limits.

Likert Scale: Standard 5-point or 7-point agreement scales (Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree).
Matrix Grid: Evaluate multiple sub-items or statements using a unified scale grid to keep surveys concise.
Star & Numeric Rating: Interactive star rating (1–5 or 1–10) for satisfaction or quality scores.

Short Text: Single-line text input for names, short answers, or codes.
Textarea: Multi-line text box for detailed qualitative responses and comments.

Audio & Video Upload: Enables respondents to record or upload voice notes and video feedback directly.
File Upload: Collect documents, images, or receipts with file extension and size restrictions.
Digital Signature: Collect handwritten digital signatures for consent forms and official declarations.
Geographic Location Picker: Captures GPS coordinates or map locations for field studies and location audit.
Date & Time Picker: Standard calendar date and time selectors.

Mandatory / Required Flag: Prevent survey submission if the question is left unanswered.
Min/Max Selection Constraints: Set exact limits on checkbox selections.
Regex & Text Format Validation: Enforce email address formats, phone number patterns, or numeric ranges.
Help Text & Sub-Instructions: Add secondary descriptions or context below the question title.
